I am a mixed-genre photographer based in Stockholm.
Since I graduated from an MA programme in photojournalism, I have been mainly focusing on long-term projects. My photography has been published in both Swedish and international publications National Geographic and the New York Times, and I have received grants from The Swedish Arts Grants Committee and Women Photograph.
My work concerns itself mostly with in-betweens. It lies in the space between decisive moments, between documentary and fine art, between man and his environment, performance reality, interpretation and fact, and seeks a kind of truth via metaphors—every microcosm alludes to the larger story of what it means to be human. I am especially interested in using photography in conjunction with other mediums of storytelling such as film, text, and audio.
